About the application

Thank you for your consideration in sponsoring Augusta Video Gaming Exposition 2026, Augusta’s first and only dedicated video game convention. In our second year we drew 1100 attendees and guests, featured around 40 vendors, community organizations, and food trucks! We are looking to expand our attendance and impact in the area for our exposition in 2027! Our featured guest in our first two years was video game historian and professor Michael Thomasson, who also is a collector and authority on retro video games. He will be in attendance this year as our returning guest! Joining Michael is actor and avid video game collector John Anderson, who features in Stranger Things on Netflix, for his second year! Joining Michael and John for the first time guest at Augusta Video Gaming Exposition is Thor Ackerlund, the 1990 Nintendo World Champion! He will also known for his contributions to “hypertapping”, a method of moving pieces in NES Tetris, and made famous by players like Koryan and 2018 and 2019 Classic Tetris World Champion Joseph Saelee!
