Spooky creatures are taking over Downtown Frederick! Dress up in your favorite costume and stroll Fifth Street for a family-friendly evening of trick-or-treating with local businesses and community partners. Our annual Big Beast Bazaar Pet Costume Contest is also returning with prizes for some of Frederick’s most creative costumed pets.

About the application

Saturday, October 17 –  Big Beast Bazaar Pet Costume Contest. Do you have a cow, horse, alpaca, llama, snake, bird, cat or dog who loves to play dress-up? Celebrate Howl-O-Ween and bring your furry friends to the Town's pet costume contest. Line up and judging start at 5 pm. We will be looking for the funniest, biggest, most unique animals and best pet/owner combination costumes. Great prizes from our local pet supporters!
