About the event

Get ready for a frightfully fun afternoon with your Braemar neighbors! The Braemar Boo Bash will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 3:00–6:30 PM at 12751 Rob Roy Way, Bristow, VA 20136. This is a private community event exclusively for Braemar HOA residents. Children can trick-or-treat among creatively decorated resident-hosted trunks while families vote to select the best displays. Guests can also enjoy a live DJ, inflatables, pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin treasure hunt, strolling characters, fall-themed photo opportunities, seasonal treats, and more. The Costume Catwalk will take place at 5:00 PM, giving residents an opportunity to showcase their costumes and compete for Ultimate Trick-or-Treat Basket prizes. Complimentary pizza slices, popcorn, s'mores and hot cider will be available, while supplies last. Other food, crafts, prizes, and activities are also limited and available while supplies last. Come dressed in your Halloween best and prepare for an afternoon of not-so-spooky family fun!

About the application

Calling all creative Braemar residents!

 

Braemar HOA residents are invited to apply to host a decorated trunk during the 2026 Braemar Boo Bash Trunk-or-Treat Challenge on Saturday, October 24.

 

Selected residents will bring one vehicle to the event, decorate the vehicle’s trunk or rear display area with a creative, family-friendly theme, and distribute candy to participating children throughout the event.

 

During Boo Bash, attendees will vote for their favorite completed trunk displays.

Trunk-or-Treat Prizes
First Place: $250
Second Place: $150
Third Place: $100


Each approved trunk host is responsible for providing:

  • Their participating vehicle
  • All trunk decorations and display materials
  • Their own candy or treats to distribute
  • At least one adult to operate the trunk throughout the event
  • Setup and removal of their display

 

Approved applicants will receive their assigned arrival time, vehicle placement, setup instructions, and additional event-day information before the event.
