Hometown Holiday Parade Application

Be part of Roanoke’s Hometown Holiday Parade and help bring the magic of the season to life! Local businesses, organizations, community groups, schools, families, and friends are invited to join the celebration with festive floats, decorated vehicles, walking groups, and creative holiday entries. It’s a fun opportunity to showcase your group, spread holiday cheer, and be part of one of Roanoke’s favorite hometown traditions.

This year’s theme is Bumble & Buddies! That’s right—we’re celebrating Bumble, the Abominable Snow Monster from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! We love a good character arc, and Bumble’s story is proof that even the biggest, furriest snowmonster has a soft side. After all, who better to lend a hand (and a little extra height) to place the star atop the Christmas tree?

So, put one foot in front of the other and get ready to bring the magic of the classic claymation Christmas movies to life! From Bumble himself to Rudolph, Hermey the Elf, and all their unforgettable friends, we want to see your favorite characters take center stage. Get creative, gather your buddies, and deck out your float with a little nostalgia, a lot of holiday cheer, and plenty of Bumble-sized fun!
