The City of Rowlett’s Christmas Trees on Main is back, and we can’t wait to see the creativity and holiday spirit our community brings to Downtown this season! Local businesses and community groups are invited to decorate a tree and help create a festive atmosphere that makes Downtown Rowlett come alive with holiday magic.

To keep the celebration bright and eco-friendly, we are once again using solar-powered lights this year. We’ve made it easy for you—just follow the link below to find the approved solar lights and get everything you need to make your tree sparkle all season long.

For Private Businesses: There's a small fee of $25 to participate. Showcase your brand with a creative Christmas Tree and connect with the community in a fun, festive way.

Christmas Trees on Main timeline: 

Submission Period (9/30 - 11/15)

Set up/ Decoration Period (11/18 - 11/30)

Display Exposure Period (12/1 - 12/31)

Required Breakdown Period (1/1 - 1/10)

The city of Rowlett will dispose of all trees left behind starting on January 11th 

By submitting this application you are agreeing to the following rules and expectations.  

1. Your group will provide your own Christmas Trees and decorations.The city will provide you with a 5 ft tall T-Post on the Downtown Rowlett Green and a 5 ft radius surrounding it. Your display must remain within the 5ft radius around your assigned T-Post.
2. The T-Posts are spaced exactly 8ft a part and are not allowed to be moved! Spaces will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.
3. Each display should be accompanied with a sign no larger than an 18x24 yard sign, with the name of business who created it. Private businesses that have a company logo anywhere on their display, and applied for the Organizations/City Departments & Boards application, will be offered a one time opportunity to pay the $25 business fee or remove the display. For private business displays that are left after this notice and remain unpaid for, then the City reserves the right to remove and dispose of the Christmas Trees and decorations.
4. The City reserves the right to remove any signs or decorations it deems inappropriate. 
5. Christmas trees and decorations must be family-friendly and maintained on a routine basis. If a Christmas tree falls into disrepair due to acts of God, vandalism, or abandonment, the City reserves the right to remove and dispose of the scarecrow and decorations.
6. None of your display can penetrate the grass on the Downtown Rowlett Green. 
7. The city is not responsible for missing items or damage to the Christmas tree.
8. Your group agrees to follow the following set up and breakdown timeline.

The City reserves the right to remove and dispose of Christmas Trees on Main and decorations that aren't removed during the required breakdown period.
