About the application
As a competition judge, you will play an important role in selecting the festival's champions by evaluating entries fairly and impartially based on established judging criteria. Judges will sample a wide variety of chicken dishes throughout the day, including but not limited to. wings, bone in chicken, boneless chicken, and specialty creations.
We are seeking individuals who are dependable, open to a diverse range of flavors and cooking styles, and committed to providing thoughtful, unbiased evaluations.

Terms & Conditions
Judges are expected to remain impartial, evaluate entries solely on the published judging criteria, keep scores confidential, avoid discussing entries during judging, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. By submitting this application, you acknowledge these expectations. Judges can not have a direct connection to someone who is a part of a cook team competing in anyway.
If selected, judges are expcted to attend an Orientation for training prior to the event, date adn time is TBD.

- Tell us about your experience evaluating food.
- Imagine you receive two entries. One matches your personal taste perfectly, while the other is expertly prepared but isn't your favorite flavors. How would you decide which deserves the higher score?
- Judging lasts approximately from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and involves tasting numerous entries throughout the day. Are you comfortable participating for the entire judging period and sampling a large amount of chicken?
- Judging scores will be submitted electronically. Will you have a fully charged smartphone or tablet available during the event?
