IbashoCon 2027 Panel Submission

Bring your authentic self and help share your interests with other IbashoCon attendees! Please read through the rules as well as the terms and conditions below before applying. 

• In order to be approved for a panel, you must first purchase a weekend badge. Confirmation of this purchase will be needed prior to panel approval.
• Panel submissions will be open until the end of 2026.
• Panels do not have a guaranteed time slot. If you are submitting a schedule, understand that we are unable to guarantee the time the panel will be and it may be scheduled at any point during the convention’s open hours. 
• Each hour of completed panels will result in a refund of $20 towards your badge price. Refunds for programming will not exceed the cost you paid for your badge. In order for you to get your refund, please see a staff member to sign off that you have completed your panel. Refunds will happen after the convention has concluded.
• If you are unable to run your panel after it has been approved, please reach out to IbashoCon staff as soon as possible through this application page. 
• Appropriately filling out the panel applications will improve the chances of the panel being approved.
• Panels involving bullying or harassment will be denied. 
• Panels containing 18+ content will be scheduled exclusively between 9pm and 12am. 
• You as the panelist are responsible for bringing your own laptop and other materials needed to run your panel beyond the provided A/V equipment. 

• IbashoCon reserves the right to reject any panel that we do not deem appropriate for our convention.
• Panelists are responsible for communication with IbashoCon in regards to any changes in schedule or availability. Panelists who are unable to complete their panel or who are unable to keep an open communication with IbashoCon may not be allowed to submit future panels for consideration.
• It is the responsbility of the panelist to meet with the AV team prior to their panel to ensure that any laptops or other electrical devices are in working conditions. IbashoCon does not provide any additional equipment or internet access for panelists.
