Port St. Lucie Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Race Application

Think your dachshund has what it takes to race? Complete the application to be considered for this year's Port St. Lucie Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Race! Eligible applications will be reviewed, and selected racers will receive a confirmation email with everything you'll need to know before the big day. Spots are limited, so don't let those little legs wait too long!

By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following event requirements:

• Only purebred Dachshunds are eligible to participate in the Wiener Dog Race.
• Each racing dog must have two (2) handlers, with at least one handler being 18 years of age or older.
• Well-behaved, leashed pets are always welcome at City of Port St. Lucie events. The only exception to the leash requirement is during the designated race staging area and while actively participating in the race.
• All dogs must remain under the control of their handlers at all times. Aggressive or disruptive behavior by a dog or handler may result in removal from the event.
• Event officials reserve the right to deny or revoke participation at their discretion if event rules or safety requirements are not followed.
• Submission of an application does not guarantee participation. The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to verify eligibility and make final determinations regarding race participation.
