Community Booth Application
About the event
About the application
The Community Booth is one stall, free of charge, that is offered to organizations seeking to share information with Market shoppers.
Organizations need to use this application form to outline what they will do at the community booth to support our mission, local food initiatives, healthy living, and sustainability. This booth is nonpartisan, and specifically not designed for political discourse, advocacy, or branding.
We have one Community Booth space available each market day, and we will do our best to accommodate your date preferences.
Terms & Conditions
Community Booth Rules and Guidelines:
- The Kalamazoo Farmers Market (KzFM) does not allow organizations or individuals to distribute materials, solicit, collect signatures, or otherwise set up at the Market without an approved application.
- On their scheduled day, Community Booth organizations may provide shoppers with information or free items, or collect signups while at the Market. They may not collect signatures for any petitions or ballots.
- Organizations at Community Booths may not sell anything at the Market. Organizations that want to sell items must apply through the vendor booth process.
- For certain booth assignments, 10’x10’ tents/pop-up canopies are permitted. You must have 25 lb. weights for each tent leg to properly secure your tent. If not, you may be asked to take your tent down.
- Folks staffing Community Booths must park in designated Vendor Parking in the outer parking lot. Parking in the correct area helps ensure close parking for Market shoppers.
- Unless alternative arrangements have been made prior to Market day, you are expected to occupy the Community Booth on your scheduled day from Market open to close. Space and/or table may be forfeited if you are late without notifying the Market Director beforehand.
- Folks staffing Community Booths must abide by all other Market Rules & Guidelines.
