SISTA SOUL FEST NC 2026: PRESS & MEDIA REGISTRATION

At Sista Soul Fest NC, we believe in the power of storytelling, visibility, and community. As we celebrate our 5th Annual Celebration under the theme "Rooted. Grown. Golden.," we invite media professionals and content creators to help us document and share this milestone year.

For five years, Sista Soul Fest North Carolina has created space for artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, creatives, entertainers, wellness professionals, and community leaders to connect, collaborate, and thrive. This year, we're honoring the roots we've planted, the relationships we've cultivated, and the legacy we're continuing to build together.

We're seeking culture-conscious journalists, photographers, videographers, podcasters, influencers, and content creators who are passionate about capturing stories of culture, entrepreneurship, creativity, community, and empowerment with integrity and intention.

 
✨ WHO QUALIFIES?
Press and media registration is open to journalists and creators who regularly produce editorial content. This includes:

• Writers, bloggers, and podcasters
• Photographers and videographers
• Producers, editors, and influencers
• Freelancers or staff for newspapers, magazines, blogs, podcasts, TV, or radio

Applicants should be attending specifically to cover Sista Soul Fest NC 2026 through interviews, photography, videography, event recaps, community storytelling, social media coverage, or other forms of media documentation.

We look forward to working with media partners who understand the importance of preserving and sharing the stories, voices, creativity, and community connections that make Sista Soul Fest North Carolina such a meaningful experience.

PRESS PASS ACCESS
Approved press/media will receive:

• Complimentary press access to Sista Soul Fest NC on Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Official press credentials and check-in badge
• Permission to record or photograph in designated areas
• Credit opportunity via Sista Soul Fest NC’s online and event promotion

This event is completely FREE and open to the public.

  MEDIA GUIDELINES

• Submitting this form does not guarantee approval
• All applicants will be notified of their approval status via email
• Each person on a creative/media team must apply individually
• Passes are non-transferable
• No reselling or unauthorized reproduction of content

 MEDIA USE + CONTENT CONTROL

• All approved press and media agree to the following:
• Exclusive footage or photos captured at Sista Soul Fest NC 2025 must be shared directly with Ayreka Plowden and the Sista Soul Fest team
• No photos or footage may be posted before official content is released by the event team
• Media content may be used for editorial purposes only. For commercial use, separate written permission is required.
  This helps us maintain the integrity, safety, and narrative control of this sacred and celebratory space.

Acknowledgement of these terms will be required during application.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Who can apply?
A: Verified journalists, creatives, and storytellers with a portfolio of relevant content. Preference is given to those with a demonstrated community impact.

Q: Is there a fee to apply?
A: No. This is a free application process.

Q: Are travel expenses covered?
A: No. Media are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Q: When will I get confirmation?
A: Approvals are sent via email within 3–5 days of the event.

Q: What if I’m not approved?
A: You are still welcome to attend! Sista Soul Fest NC is free and open to the public.
