About the event

Tekko is Pennsylvania's largest anime convention, attracting nearly 12,000 unique and diverse fans from across the country (and world!) to the region. We aren't just any old anime convention, though. We offer so much more by featuring Japanese arcade games, J-rock, J-fashion, Japanese pop culture, and education in our programming. Additionally, we choose a unique theme every year to explore new content, such as wrestling, mecha, sports, and more. This makes us one of the most diverse anime and Japanese culture conventions in the country, and we aren't done expanding yet! Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . We've been bringing fans together for more than 20 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

About the application

This application is for Dokibird's meet and greet at Tekko 2026!

 

  • Location: Vtuber Meet and Greets (DLCC 337)
  • Date: Friday, July 24
  • Time: 4:30 - 5:30 pm

We will be selecting 25 people from those that apply here to attend the meet and greet. We will not be accepting walk-ins for the meet and greet, so if you want to meet Dokibird, make sure you apply by July 10, 11:59 pm ET!

Terms & Conditions

All attendees are required to follow the rules and regulations for the event listed at https://www.tekko.us/rules-regulations. Please note the following restrictions for the meet and greet itself:

 

  • You must have a valid Tekko 2026 badge (either a Friday day badge or a Weekend badge) to attend Dokibird's meet and greet. You will be asked during the application for your confirmation number, which should be in the email you received upon purchasing your badge.
  • This is the only application through which admittance to Dokibird's meet and greet will be granted.
  • For those who are selected, admission to the meet and greet is free of charge. Please report any and all reseller attempts to programming@pittjcs.org.
  • Each attendee will get 2 minutes with Dokibird. There will be a timer available to keep track and remain on time, so please remain aware of this. If your time elapses, you will be cut off at that time, to be respectful to the other attendees' time We appreciate your understanding!
