Please fill out this form to participate in the 2026 U.S. Steinholding Association Colorado State Championship Qualifier on 9/26/26. For more information on the event, please visit the U.S. Steinholding Association website.
This event will be hosted at Goat Patch Brewing Company - Lincoln Center at 2727 N. Cascade Ave. #123, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 on 9/26/26.
All steins will be regulation 1L filled with water.
This is also part of our annual Oktoberfest celebration, and there will be live music, games, and food trucks all day!
The top 2 women and top 2 men will move on to the Colorado State Championship Finals on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 at Prost Brewing Company in Northglenn, CO. Participants are welcome to show up as early as 12:30 to ask questions/warm up, etc.
There will be 8 rounds*
Top 5 times will be recorded and sent to the US Steinholding Association–judges are certified through the US Steinholding Association:
Round 1 - Male [12:00 pm]
Round 2 - Female [12:15 pm]
Round 3 - Male [12:30 pm]
Round 4 - Female [12:45 pm]
Round 5 - Male [3:00 pm]
Round 6- Female [3:15 pm]
Round 7 - Male [3:30 pm]
Round 8 - Female [3:45 pm]
*time will fluctuate for length of holds and resets*

This is the only date that Goat Patch will be holding USSA Colorado Qualifiers
Waiver: A Steinholding competition consists of holding a 1L glass stein filled with liquid (weighing approximately 5 pounds total) in front of your body with a fully extended arm. It is a physical activity, but it is meant to be fun, so don’t overexert yourself and don’t participate if you have any injuries or conditions which may be aggravated by this type of activity. While there have been no reported cases of injuries occurring during a Steinholding competition, by signing up to participate, you agree to release the competition venue and U.S. Steinholding Association from any liability in the event that you suffer an injury as a result of your participation.
