About the event

The purpose of Sista Soul Fest is to create a space where people in the community can showcase, celebrate, and grow their talents, gifts, businesses, and passions within a supportive and empowering environment. More than just a festival, Sista Soul Fest is a movement rooted in culture, connection, creativity, and community. Since 2020, every last Sunday in August, women, young people, families, artists, entrepreneurs, dreamers, and leaders from across our communities have gathered together not only to celebrate business and culture, but to celebrate one another. In 2025, Sista Soul Fest expanded even further by welcoming more men into the experience, reflecting our continued growth into a more inclusive community-centered celebration. Our 2026 theme, “We’re Better Together,” reflects the heart of Sista Soul Fest and the belief that there is power in unity, beauty in diversity, and strength in community. Sista Soul Fest 2026 celebrates the power within us all: the artist, the survivor, the dreamer, and the leader. We are both beauty and strength, rooted in culture and driven by purpose. Each year we continue to grow, inspire, connect, and create unforgettable experiences for our communities, and 2026 will be our most impactful year yet. SO WE CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE HOW EPIC THIS YEAR WILL BE!!!!!

About the application

Thank you for being so interested in applying for The Center Stage at Sista Soul Fest. We’re currently looking for live entertainers/performers of all types to appear on our Main Stage. As a nonprofit, entertainers donate their time, and in return will be promoted on our social media, website, event site(s) and festival app.

Sista Soul Fest Performance Terms and Conditions
 If you are selected to perform at SSF, these are the terms. In exchange for the following mutual consideration and promises, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 
 
1Place, date, and time of Show. The parties agree that the time and place of show will be on August 30, 2026, during your assigned time slot. Please be aware that traffic will be heavy on this day so plan to arrive early. Your group must check in with the stage manager 20 minutes before your performance time. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your performance time. We will send you a special parking pass a week out from your performance. Band/Performers’ sole consideration for this agreement shall be the exposure the Operator and Event shall provide and the promotion that the Operator shall provide of the performance.    
 
2. Description of the Show. You will be scheduled for a 5 - 20 minute performance. Your performance will end on time. If, for any unforeseen circumstance, such as weather, technical complications, etc., your performance, if it starts late, will still end at the time stated. Please refrain from profanity and sexual innuendos in your performance. Audio technical requirements (music needed, etc.) must be provided two weeks before the performance time.
