Does your dog have what it takes to serve? There’s only one way to find out – enter them to walk in the Denver Pride Mutt Strut Doggy Drag Show!
The Mutt Strut is a dog drag show featuring three timed runway shows hosted by the one and only FUPA. Each show has its own category:
WIGS – Build your dog’s entire look around a tiny wig
Dynamic Duo – Coordinate with your pup! We want to see twins!
Queer Icons – Transform your dog into your favorite queer icon (think: reality stars, musicians, actors, and activists from the past or present)
How it works:
- Register your dog for one runway category (and review the terms and conditions. Application will be accepted on a rolling basis)
- Create a sickening lewk for your pup
- Show up and slay the runway together
Timing:
- WIGS runway will begin at approximately 11am
- Dynamic Duo runway will begin at approximately 2pm
- Queer Icons runway will begin at approximately 4pm
Before you register:
- The event takes place at an indoor/outdoor off-leash dog park, so dogs will be roaming freely
- Runway participants will be on leash during the show
- Important: If your dog has leash aggression, please DO NOT enter them
- Dogs don’t need perfect manners – some chaos is welcome – but they must be comfortable around other dogs, even if approached unexpectedly
- All participating dogs must meet vaccination requirements (see terms and conditions)
Terms & Conditions
The first step to getting your dog eligible to attend this event is downloading the Skiptown app. After you download the app, you should create an account and complete your dog’s profile. The app will prompt you through the registration process.
You will need to provide proof that your dog is up-to-date on bordetella, distemper/parvo, and rabies vaccinations. Vaccination records must up-to-date and on veterinary letterhead.
To ensure the safety of all guests, Skiptown requires all vaccinations be given by a licensed veterinarian. They do not accept dogs who are given at-home vaccinations.
