About the application
Welcome to the GDEX 2025 Speaker Application!
Do you have something you're really passionate about you want to bring to GDEX? Applications are handled on a rolling basis, so we will look over them as they come in on a weekly basis and approve, decline, or hold for a later decision. Applications can be Accepted, Waitlisted, or Rejected at any time for any reason. Accepted applications will be posted onto the schedule based on the time availability listed on the application.
We generally divide our experiences into the following categories
- Speaking Seminars. (Speakers give presentations about their topic, technologies, etc.)
- Workshops. (These are designed to be interactive sessions that require audience work and/or participation.)
- Panels. (Consist of multiple speakers discussing a topic.)
- Gaming Experience. (Any kind of game demos, tournaments, showcases, etc.)
- Tech Experience. (If you have a cool technology to demo, particularly visual or interactive experiences.)
- Community Gathering or Meetups. (Sessions that are designed to have people get together and meet each other or celebs, etc.)
- Live Performance. (This can be anything ranging from Music, Comedy, Theatre, Dance, Art or more! Anything done primarily to entertain an audience.)
NOTE: OUR EXPERIENCES ARE DESIGNED TO BE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, GAME SHOWCASES, OR COMMUNITY GATHERINGS AND CANNOT BE SALES PITCHES.
Also note: The "Business Info" portion of the application is standard and we cannot modify it. If you don't have a business logo, just upload any image instead. (1x1 pixel, or full-transparent image, or any other placeholder is fine.)

SPEAKER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All participants and guests are expected to adhere to the GDEX Code of Conduct. GDEX and staff reserve the right to restrict or remove guests at the event at any time for any reason if we believe the Code of Conduct has been violated or the health and safety of guests is in danger.

Please make sure that your talk description contains all the information necessary. Images provided should be square and as high-quality as you can manage.
Some parts of the information you provide will be transferred over to the system for guests to see, so please check it over for spelling and grammar and write these portions with a public-facing voice. Write to convince your target audience to come to your session or experience!
You can expect the speaker rooms to have a projector with HDMI input, and a microphone.
