About the event

The Maryland Alpaca and Fleece Festival is tons of fun for the whole family, from the young ones who can pet the beautiful, soft, and sweet alpacas to adults who can also pet the alpacas to those who like to shop til you drop as well as excellent classes! This event is a great place to start shopping for Holiday gifts, including yourself! We have all of your favorite vendors as well as new ones for yummy yarns, soft fleeces with all the benefits of alpacas, alpaca products, and so much more. As always, there will be raffle baskets of amazing items donated by the vendors as well as interactive demos for all ages because learning about Alpacas is just so fun! Save the dates for a great fall fiber event.

Prices

Youth Show Fee $25.00 $25 entry fee per exhibitor Includes complimentary 10x10 pen space. Bring your own pens for your animal(s). All Maryland alpacas & llamas must have a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection completed within the last 120 days. For animals from outside of Maryland, please refer to the Maryland Dept of Agriculture Health Requirements (https://mda.maryland.gov/AnimalHealth/Pages/default.aspx) Saturday November 8, 2025 -Youth Showmanship & Obstacle Classes:9 am to finish - Animal Costume Parade: 12 Noon *approximately* Sunday November 9, 2025 - Animal Costume Parade: 12 Noon *approximately* MABA’s Open Youth Performance Show is open to ages 5 to 18. Exhibitors shall base their age as of January 1, 2025, as per AOA guidelines. Age Divisions (As of Jan 1, 2025) Senior 15-18 Intermediate 12-14 Junior 8-11 Sub Junior 5-8 DRESS CODE No Jeans. Black pants, White shirt, closed toe shoes/boots.
