About the event

Tekko is Pennsylvania's largest anime convention, attracting nearly 12,000 unique and diverse fans from across the country (and world!) to the region. We aren't just any old anime convention, though. We offer so much more by featuring Japanese arcade games, J-rock, J-fashion, Japanese pop culture, and education in our programming. Additionally, we choose a unique theme every year to explore new content, such as wrestling, mecha, sports, and more. This makes us one of the most diverse anime and Japanese culture conventions in the country, and we aren't done expanding yet! Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . We've been bringing fans together for more than 20 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

About the application

This the application to model in the Tekko 2026 J-Fashion Show. The Fashion Show will be on Saturday, July 25th at 6pm.

Terms & Conditions

Your exact time commitments are TBD but most likely you will need to be available in ALL of the following ranges:


Thursday July 23rd between 6pm and 9pm

Friday July 24th between 9am and 12pm

Saturday July 25th between 12pm and 9pm

 

Exact call times will be SHORTER but will be in those range. 

 

NEW: Models must have a valid Tekko badge, but will receive a FULL general badge reimbursement after the Fashion Show! (up to the price originally paid for the general badge; higher tier badges will receive a partial reimbursment up to the price of a general badge)


Models must be able to provide their own:

  • Shoes
  • Petticoat and undergarments
  • Tights/Socks
