Are you GGE's next Featured Cosplayer? We want you on our floor! Whether your costume is handcrafted from scratch or store bought and styled to perfection we celebrate cosplay of all kinds at GGE. From gaming legends to anime icons, pop culture favorites to completely original creations — if you love it, we want to see it.

Featured Cosplayers at Game & Geek Expo, will be recognized across our social media channels, marketing materials, and website as an official featured guest of the show. Benefits may also include a dedicated booth space on the convention floor and additional perks based on the individual.

All benefits are determined at the discretion of the GGE team and are not guaranteed solely by featured status

Who We Are Looking For

Game & Geek Expo is seeking passionate and engaging cosplayers to represent the GGE community as featured guests at our September 5th and 6th show at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, NC.

We welcome cosplayers of all styles and backgrounds. Whether your costumes are handcrafted or store bought, we celebrate creativity and passion above all else. Featured cosplayer selections are based on a combination of the following factors:

Experience - How long you have been cosplaying and your overall experience in the cosplay community. We look for cosplayers with at least one to two years of active cosplay experience though exceptions may be made for exceptional applicants.

Community Presence - Your social media following, engagement, and overall presence in the cosplay and geek community. We look for applicants who are actively sharing their cosplay journey and engaging with their audience across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Twitter.

Craftsmanship and Creativity - Your level of skill, attention to detail, and creativity in your costumes. This includes but is not limited to construction, design, accuracy, and overall presentation. Store bought costumes are welcome and judged on styling, creativity, and how they are presented rather than construction.

Diversity of Content - We look for cosplayers who represent a broad range of fandoms including gaming, anime, pop culture, and original creations. We want our featured cosplayer lineup to reflect the diverse interests of the GGE community.

Professionalism and Conduct - We look for cosplayers who represent themselves and the community in a positive and professional manner both online and in person.

 
Application Requirements

Must be 18+
Have cosplay-related content or social presence. 

 
Important Disclaimers

Submitting an application does not guarantee a featured cosplayer spot at Game & Geek Expo. All applications are reviewed at the sole discretion of the GGE team and selections are based on the factors outlined above.

Featured cosplayer status and associated benefits are determined by the GGE team and are subject to change. Not all applicants will receive the same benefits and selections are final.

GGE reserves the right to decline any application for any reason without obligation to provide an explanation.

By submitting an application you agree to allow Game & Geek Expo to use any submitted photos and content for promotional purposes across our website and social media channels.

Featured cosplayers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the event. GGE reserves the right to revoke featured status at any time for conduct that does not align with our community standards.

All featured cosplayers must comply with the GGE code of conduct and terms and conditions posted on the GGE website.
