The Human Services Division will give away 350 backpacks to pre-registered students living in Gardena or attending a school in the Gardena Community of Schools. This giveaway will happen during Gardena's Summer Block Party in celebration of National Night Out.
If you are interested in participating in this event, please register your student using the application below. Please note documents will be required upon registration, including;
- Proof of Residency (Utility Bill such as light, water, gas, or Lease)
- Proof of School Enrollment
- Parent ID
- Child's Birth Certificate/Guardianship documents
Once you have been approved, your student will secure a backpack.
