We are on a quest to find passionate craftspeople willing to teach their trade to eager beginners — and yes, you will be compensated for your wisdom. About the application

HEAR YE, HEAR YE, SKILLED ARTISANS!

The realm has need of thee!

Do your hands know the ancient arts? Can you shape metal, stitch leather, weave rings of steel, or breathe life into cloth? Then we call upon YOU to step forward and share your gifts with the uninitiated!

The Spokane Entertainers Guild is seeking Workshop Instructors for our 2026 Season!

We are on a quest to find passionate craftspeople willing to teach their trade to eager beginners — and yes, you will be compensated for your wisdom. Instructors set their own class fees, putting the power of the purse in your capable hands.

Whether you practice: ⚒️ Blacksmithing | ? Chainmaille | ? Sewing & Textile Arts | ? Leatherworking | or ANY skill the modern world has nearly forgotten...

...your knowledge is a treasure worth sharing.

Our workshops exist to keep these dying arts alive and thriving in our community — and we need masters like YOU to make that happen.

No experience teaching? Fear not — if you know your craft, we'll help you with the rest.

Venue & Location

SEG will procure a suitable venue for your workshop at no cost to the instructor.
If you require a specific venue (e.g., for equipment such as a forge or kiln), you must specify this at the time of application.
All instructor-proposed venues are subject to review and approval by SEG.

As a nonprofit organization, SEG recommends that class fees be set only at a level sufficient to cover the cost of materials.
SEG does not take a percentage of or any surcharge on class fees collected by instructors.

Photography & Marketing

Photographs and/or video may be taken during your workshop for SEG marketing and promotional purposes.
Instructors who wish to opt out of having their likeness used in marketing materials may do so by emailing the Workshop Coordinator prior to their workshop date.

Cancellations & Unfulfilled Obligations

If you are unable to fulfill a confirmed workshop commitment for any reason, you must notify SEG as soon as possible.
Timely notification allows SEG to cancel or reschedule the workshop and minimize inconvenience to registered participants.
Repeated cancellations or failure to provide adequate notice may result in ineligibility to participate in future Faire seasons.
