The Cosplay Cabaret will be like a talent show on the main stage. Cosplay highly encouraged, you will be able to sing your favorite song, perform a skit with friends, play a solo on an intrument you love, perform a song with friends, dance your favorite vocaloid or k pop dance etc. 

Our vision is to recreate the school festival atmosphere in the auditorium we see so often in our favorite animes! That is the kind of vibe we want to create! This is a new idea, but we think this has the potential to be amazing and a lot of fun, and a great way to wrap up the day on Friday!  

To particiupate you simply need to fill out the application form and submit an audition video!

This year for the first time ever Anime Dallas is bringing you the Anime Cosplay Cabaret - you will have the chance to sing / dance / act / play your heart out on the main stage of Anime Dallas through the concert sound system with the giant video wall for backup! This is open to individuals as well as groups! 

Because time slots are limited you will need to send us a brief audition tape of you performing the activity you would plan to perform at the convention. No costueme needed for the video. Entrants will be selected on a fist come first serve basis, but will be screened to be sure the content is appropriate for our Anime Convention Audience. 

Here is how you participate!  Record your performance. Fill out the form below to give us your contact info and upload a copy of your song in a video or MP3 file. Anime Dallas staff will review your submission and contact you to let you know you are on the schedule, and roughly what time we expect you will be able to take the stage!

Cosplay is encouraged but not required!

If you are singing or need musical or audio / video accompaniement you may also provide us a copy of the music video for it, which we can play during your performance as your background track. We will need to review the videos ahead of time. 

Submission deadline for applications is April 13th. 

Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

In submitting your application, you confirm that any copyrighted material used in your performance audio or visuals is either owned by you, used with permission from the rights holder, or qualifies for use under Fair Use or a valid Creative Commons license.

• Age Requirement: All panelists must be at least 18 years old by the event date, or 16 years old with a parent or guardian present.

• Content Standards: All performance content must be family-friendly

• Conduct: Performers are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward attendees, staff, and fellow presenters and guests.

• Liability: AnimeDallas, its staff, and affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred before, during, or after your participation.

• Recording & Photography: Panels may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes by AnimeDallas.

• Advertisement & Presentation: AnimeDallas reserves the right to alter or revise the Name and Description of your event for clarity or advertisement purposes.

Panelists found not adhering to these or our general convention policies may be rejected for future applications.
