You’re officially invited to join us for the 17th Annual Downtown Martinez 4th of July Parade! Whether you're a local business, school group, performer, club, or community member — this is your chance to be part of one of Martinez's most festive and patriotic traditions!
Parade Details:
- Date: Friday, July 4, 2025
- Parade Start: 10:00 AM
- Staging Begins: 9:00 AM
- Route: Main Street, Downtown Martinez
More than 3,000 people gather downtown each year to enjoy the sights and sounds of our colorful, high-energy parade. We’re looking for amazing floats, eye-catching costumes, and high-energy participation to showcase the best of our community and celebrate America’s birthday in style. Let's make this parade unforgettable! Join the celebration and showcase your creativity, spirit, and pride in the Martinez community!
Kids Decorated Bike Parade – No Application Needed!
The popular kids bike parade is back! Children can arrive with a decorated bike or decorate one before the event. Meet at Main Street & Court Street to join the group — no sign-up required but be prepared to stay with your child at staging and either walk/ride with them or meet them at the end to pick up.
Important Reminders:
- You’re welcome to hand out candy or promotional items during the parade.
- Do not throw items from vehicles, floats, or the street to the crowd.
- You’ll receive a confirmation and final instructions the week prior to the event.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I the undersigned, on behalf of myself, the owners, and participants in our entry, hereby waive all claims against Main Street Martinez DBA Downtown Martinez & Co. The 4th of July committee, sponsors, volunteers, and City of Martinez arising out of participation in the Martinez 4th of July Parade and/or other activities.
