By submitting an application, you agree to the following terms & conditions:
BUSINESS LICENSES / REQUIREMENTS
Exhibitors certify that they have all necessary business licenses, incorporation documents, insurance or other relevant permits to sell their products, services, and/or run their organization and can provide documentation upon request. Exhibitors acknowledge that they are solely responsible for determining what requirements apply to their business or organization, including what sales taxes, if any, to collect and remit.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Exhibitors and accompanying staff must be a minimum of 18 years old.
PRODUCTS & DISPLAYS
We strive to create a positive, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere. All products and displays must be appropriate for all ages. Exhibitors may not display or distribute materials or merchandise featuring political figures, candidates, parties, or campaigns. Event organizers reserve the right to require the removal of any materials deemed inappropriate or political in nature. Failure to comply will result in removal from the marCATplace without a refund.
AI PAW-LICY
Exhibitors may not sell items created in whole or in part using AI (Artificial Intelligence). Failure to comply will result in removal from the marCATplace without a refund.
BOOTH SETUP
Booths have a standard pipe and drape setup. Nothing may be attached to the fabric or nearby walls. Exhibitors may use hooks to attach lightweight objects, such as signage, to the booth's frame. Glitter, confetti, and other similar objects that require excessive cleanup are not permitted. Displays may not extend into the aisle or beyond the booth's sides.
LOAD IN & LOAD OUT
Exhibitor is solely responsible for setting up and breaking down their booth. Exhibitor must remove all items and trash from their booth during load out.
EVENT HOURS
Exhibitors must keep their booth fully setup and staffed for the entire duration of the event's marCATplace hours on November 7 & 8. Exact hours TBD (approximately 8 hours per day). Exhibitors that begin to breakdown their booth and/or leave before the closing announcement each day will not be invited back in the future.
LIVE CATS
Cats are the only live animals permitted in the venue (except for service animals). Exhibitors that bring a cat to the event must sign a waiver. Cats must be in a carrier, pet backpack or stroller, or harness/leash at all times. Exhibitors with a cat must bring all necessary supplies such as a litter box, food, water, etc.
PAYMENT
Booth fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. A $5 fee is required to submit an application. If accepted, your credit card on file will be charged for the full registration fee.
INDEMINFICATION
Exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor's activities at the event and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the venue and event producers, as well as their respective agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Exhibitor agrees to abide by the event's code of conduct:
This festival is all about celebrating cats and cultivating community among the people who love them. Our goal is to create a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or nationality.
Exhibitors agree to be considerate in their speech and actions to other guests and event staff. Any form of harassment or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have been engaged in harassment, threats, or willful disruption will have their badge revoked without a refund and removed from the venue.
FORCE MAJEURE / EVENT CANCELLATION
If the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond the event organizer's control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, or other emergencies, the event organizer reserves the right to determine appropriate remedies, which may include rescheduling the event or issuing full or partial refunds of exhibitor fees. The event organizer shall not be responsible for any costs or losses incurred by exhibitors.
