Join us for the Texas Mushroom Festival in Downtown Madisonville, TX on Saturday, October 17th, 2026! This exciting event, typically attracting around 10,000 spectators, is back and better than ever with a few new exciting additions. Located conveniently halfway between Houston and Dallas, just off Interstate 45, Madisonville is a vibrant and ever-growing community, perfect for a day of fun and festivities. Highlights of the Texas Mushroom Festival: ~ Taste of Texas Tent: Enjoy beer and wine tastings and live entertainment. ~ Auto Showcase: Featuring a variety of awards across different categories. ~ 150+ Vendors on the Square: Explore a wide array of products and services from local and afar vendors. ~ Portabella Park: A kids' zone packed with fun activities, including a petting zoo. ~ Silent Auction: Bid on items generously donated by local businesses. ~ Photo Contest: Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes in our amateur photography competition. ~ Quilt Show: Quilts showcased by a local quilting club. There is always a quilt raffle. ~ Shiitake 5k Run: Participate in our 5k run or the kids' 1-mile run, both offering prizes. ~ Monterey Mushroom Inc.: Savor their famous mushroom tacos and join the mushroom picking contest. ~ Mushroom Market: This features a few “Mushroom Vendors” from all over Texas bringing their mushroom products. Whether you're a local or visiting, the Texas Mushroom Festival offers a unique opportunity to enjoy delicious food, entertainment, and a vibrant marketplace. About the application

The Texas Mushroom Festival is excited to welcome breweries to be part of one of our favorite festival experiences — the Tasting Tent! This popular destination allows guests to sample a variety of craft beverages while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the festival.

 

There is no booth charge for participating breweries. Instead, breweries will be reimbursed for each tasting coupon redeemed by festival guests, making it a fun and easy way to showcase your products to thousands of attendees.

 

Participating breweries will be located under the large festival tasting tent, creating a vibrant space where guests can explore and enjoy a wide variety of craft brews. The Texas Mushroom Festival will provide each brewery with the following:

 

-One table
-Table covering
-Chairs
-Ice chest
-Ice
-Ice bucket
-Water pitcher

Breweries are welcome to decorate their booth space however they like to showcase their brand and create a fun, welcoming experience for guests.

 

Additional event details and operational information will be shared with approved participants as the festival approaches.

Terms & Conditions

Use your Festival Permit and sell your beer by the glass, can, or bottle. 

 

Liability Release and Indemnification Agreement:

You must read and agree to our Liability Release and Indemnification Agreement prior to application submittal and acceptance.
