OFFENSIVE MATERIAL:
Cherry Capital Comic Con is an all-ages event. Any items found to be offensive MUST BE REMOVED from sale. The Cherry Capital Comic Con staff has final say on what is or is not acceptable. If you have an item that you believe someone may find to be questionable, please make sure to ask.
BOOTLEGS, FORGERIES AND FACSIMILES:
Cherry Capital Comic Con has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY on all Bootleg, Forged, Fake, Reproduction, Copied, Knock-off and Non-Original merchandise. This includes, but is not limited to: DVD's, CD's, Artwork, Posters, and Signatures. This policy is for YOUR legal protection as well as OURS. Exhibitors found in violation will be asked to remove the items in question from sale- and in some extreme cases, will be asked to leave the show. Exhibitors will not be issued a refund of any kind in the occurrence of this.
AI:
The emergence of AI generated art has raised a lot of interest- and even more questions- as of late. Some of these questions breach legal and ethical discussions that are a part of a much larger conversation in the art community. As such we will continue to monitor the evolution of these discussions, the implications of decisions that need to be made, and the naturally evolving cultural norms that are applied to this particular topic. Until some of these things become more clear, we will not be allowing AI generated art to be sold at C4.
If AI art is discovered on the convention floor, the offender will be asked to leave with no refund of fees paid.
CODE OF CONDUCT
For many of us, comic conventions are a business- but that doesn't mean that they aren't fun! Please remember throughout the convention that the rules of common sense apply to common courtesy, respect for others, and respect for property. Harassment or any other offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Cherry Capital Comic Con retains the right to revoke exhibitor space without refund if its staff feels it is in the best interest of keeping our event a safe environment for all attendees. Persons who find themselves in a potentially dangerous situation should notify event security or C4 staff immediately to resolve the matter as effectively as possible.
