**All advertised prizes require a certain number of pre-show sign ups. If thresholds are not hit before the day of the contest, the prize pool will be adjusted**

How Scoring Works
While this is branded as an Audience vote contest, craftsmanship is still very important, our Master Level Judge retains a majority of the weight in determining final placements. The Audience vote has the most weight in determining the winner of the performance category.
All Craftsmanship categories are weighed at a 75% craftsmanship / 25% Performance.
The Audience does not hold final say on any aspect of the contest, prizes, or placements.
Our Master level judge maintains an unbiased opinion, placements are determined by a combination of skill level, difficulty, and stage presence. Any discrepancies in vote and skill level will be resolved by her.
About the Judge
With over a decade of crafting experience, numerous contests ran, and international acclaim for her cosplays. Alecta Arcana has been a staple of the Texas con scene for the past 10 years. She has coordinated the cosplay contest for major shows such as IKKiCON, Kameha Con, Anime Houston, Anime Dallas, and over 30 other conventions across the US.
