About the event

Celebrate the magic of the season at the 78th Annual Fort Mill Christmas Parade! This beloved holiday tradition will fill Historic Downtown Fort Mill with festive sights and sounds as the parade makes its way from Tom Hall and Unity Street, through Main Street and North White Street, and ends at Walter Elisha Park. Enjoy a joyful lineup of local schools, officials, churches, businesses, scouts, pageant queens, community groupsโ€”and of course, Santa Claus himself! This yearโ€™s parade will be led by our Grand Marshal and filmed for Comporium Channel 705, with live coverage in front of the Fort Mill Fire Station at 121 Tom Hall Street. Emcees will announce each entry as they pass by, and our Parade Judges will select winners in categories including: ๐ŸŽ„ Most Festive Entry โœจ Best Holiday Spirit ๐ŸŽ Most Creative Christmas Theme ๐ŸŒŸ Best Overall Entry ๐Ÿšถ Best Walking Group ๐ŸŽ  Best Float ๐Ÿš— Best Vehicle Entry ๐Ÿฅ Best Band or Performance Group ๐ŸŽ… Best Youth Entry ๐Ÿ™ Best Church or Nonprofit Entry ๐Ÿข Best Business Entry ๐ŸŽ… Parade applications are accepted through Friday, November 7 at 5 p.m. Space is limited. You will be notified by Wednesday, November 12, if you are Approved or placed on the Wait List. Once Approved, you must make payment by Friday, November 21 to participate. We canโ€™t wait to see you on Saturday, December 6 for this cherished Fort Mill holiday tradition!

About the application

Each Entry must submit an application. Parade applications are accepted through Friday, November 7 at 5 p.m. Space is limited.ย 


You will be notified if you are Approved or placed on the Wait List by Wednesday, November 12.

All drivers must provide proof of liability insurance and proof of Drivers License.

There is a limited number of participants accepted. Please read the rules and guidelines carefully before submitting your application. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE PARADE.

By completing this application, all entries and entry participants agree to Town of Fort Mill's Indemnify and Hold Harmless Agreement. INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: I/we further agree to indemnify, and hold harmless the Town of Fort Mill, Town Depts. Events Committee and its employees, volunteers, or agents against loss or expense, including attorneyโ€™s fees for loss or expense because of bodily injury, death or property damage sustained by any person or persons.

It is further agreed that I/we, as participants, will provide proof of drivers license and general liability and auto insurance for the parade entry.

Participant further agrees to have received, read, understood, and will fully comply with all of the Town of Fort Mill Parade Rules and Regulations. No refunds for any reason.
