All Volunteers are subject to review by our Volunteer Committee and the Director of Events. All Volunteers must adhere to WeebCon's Code of Conduct, rules, and regulations – which include and do not limit to the following:
Eligibility
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age by April 3rd, 2026.
- WeebCon reserves the right to request proof of age or identification at any step in the volunteer process.
- All volunteer forms must be submitted via our official online form.
Volunteer Conduct
- Good personal hygiene is required at all times.
Volunteers must be sober and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty. - Volunteers under the age of 21 may not consume, transport, or carry alcoholic beverages in convention areas.
- Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in badge revocation and removal from WeebCon.
- Volunteers must follow the same rules as attendees, including but not limited to:
- No trading badges.
- No skipping lines to concerts, Dealer’s Room, Guest Signings, or other events.
Approval & Scheduling
- Submission of a volunteer application does not guarantee acceptance.
- The WeebCon Volunteer Coordinator reserves the right to approve, deny, or request edits to any submission.
- Accepted volunteers will be scheduled at the discretion of the Volunteer Coordinator and Team.
- Volunteers may indicate shift preferences, but final scheduling is determined by WeebCon.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Volunteers are expected to work 4 hours for a single-day badge or 12 hours for a weekend badge.
- Volunteers must arrive on time to their assigned duty locations.
- If unable to attend a shift, volunteers must notify their Staff Head or Volunteer Point of Contact at least 24 hours prior.
- Failure to notify or missing shifts may result in badge suspension or loss of volunteer benefits.
- Volunteers agree to maintain professionalism during interactions with attendees, staff, and guests.
- Cosplaying or wearing a costume while on duty is not permitted.
Benefits & Compensation
- Volunteers who meet their hour requirements will receive the corresponding day or weekend badge.
- Additional benefits may be offered at the Convention’s discretion but are not guaranteed.
- Travel (including to and from the show), lodging, parking, and transportation expenses are the responsibility of the volunteer.
Work Areas & Access
- Volunteers understand that the WeebCon Green Room is for guest use only. Access is limited to selected volunteers and on-duty staff.
- Staff Suite is provided for volunteers to relax and eat when off duty. Staff Suite access is a privilege and may be revoked at any time.
Liability & Indemnification
- WeebCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
- Volunteers assume all risks associated with their service and agree to release WeebCon, its staff, and affiliates from liability.
- Volunteers agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeebCon from any claims resulting from their actions, conduct, or negligence.
Code of Conduct
- Volunteers must adhere to WeebCon’s Code of Conduct at all times.
- Failure to comply with any and all rules may result in:
- Immediate badge revocation.
- Removal from the convention indefinitely.
- Loss of volunteer benefits.
- Financial or Legal charges
Changes & Cancellation
- WeebCon reserves the right to change volunteer times, locations, or responsibilities at any time.
- WeebCon may cancel shifts or volunteer assignments at its discretion due to emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or policy violations.

By submitting a volunteer application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
