Freelance Creator Application

WeebCon is excited to collaborate with talented freelance creators to help bring our anime community to life!

We’re looking for Anime Bloggers, Video Editors, Digital Artists, Animators, Graphic Designers, and other creatives who want to share their skills and passion.

This is your chance to work with our team, showcase your artistry to a growing audience, and contribute to the magic of WeebCon 2026!

Eligibility

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
2. Must be able to provide samples of original work.

Original Work Requirement

1. All submitted work must be original and created by you.
2. Use of AI-generated content (art, writing, video, audio, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Submissions found to contain AI-generated work will be disqualified immediately.
3. Must be able to provide proof of creation upon request at any point of contract

Professional Standards

1. Work must be free of hateful, discriminatory, or explicit content (unless explicitly approved for 18+ use).
2. Freelancers agree to maintain professional communication and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
3. Freelancers will be given a 2 strike warning of noncompliance then let go of their contract.

Ownership & Rights

1. Creators retain rights to their work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. By working with WeebCon, you grant us permission to use commissioned or collaborative works for promotional purposes (Paid Ads, Social media, website, printed materials, etc.).

Compensation

1. Freelance work is compensated according to the agreement made per project.
2. Rates, deliverables, and timelines will be confirmed before work begins.

Liability

1. WeebCon is not responsible for lost, corrupted, or plagiarized work.
2. Freelancers are responsible for ensuring that their work does not infringe on third-party copyrights.
