South Carolina Anime Fest Media Credentials Application

Thank you for your interest in promoting and covering South Carolina Anime Fest! South Carolina Anime Fest takes place July 18-19, 2026 at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. After filling out this form, you will receive an email regarding your approval status as we draw nearer to the event.

Credentialed media for VXV Events must fall into one of the following two categories:

Traditional Media

• AM, FM, and/or Satellite Radio
• Local/Regional/National TV
• Local/National/College Newspapers and/or Magazines (with a specific assignment)

Digital Media

• Website/Blog
• Podcast/Vlog
• Social Media Influencers, in a field related to VXV Events content (cosplay, specific fandoms, etc.)

There are specific requirements for applicants depending which media category you select. You must meet those requirements to be considered.

Credentialed media outlets are limited to no more than 2 press badges per outlet. Each individual must submit their own application – do NOT submit a single request for two or more individuals.

VXV Events does not provide nor guarantee opportunities for celebrity and/or creator guest interviews. You may not approach celebrity or creator guests interacting with attendees to solicit interviews. If a guest is not interacting with attendees, you may approach the guest's handler and ask if the guest would be willing and available to do a short interview. If attendees enter the guest's line to interact with the guest, the interview must end. Our top priority is the attendee-guest interaction. If you are considering applying for media credentials for the purpose of obtaining celebrity or creator guest interviews, you may want to reconsider whether or not to apply.

Press passes are non-transferable and non-resellable. Credentialed media must show photo ID when picking up their credentials and at any time during the event a VXV Events crewmember asks to see it. Any individuals caught selling or transferring their media pass will be disqualified from attending current and future VXV events. This is non-negotiable.

All holders of press passes must adhere to the regular attendee rules and guidelines at all times as well as the additional rules for attending press:

Expectations and Rules for Press Pass Holders

• Members of the media must adhere to the VXV Events Anti-Harassment Rules.
• No coverage may make fun of or at the expense of our attendees, guests, or exhibitors.
• Your press pass does not allow early access, special access, or guaranteed seating.
• Your press pass does not allow you to cut lines.
• Press will be admitted into panels as general admission as long as room capacity allows. There will not be a designated press entrance for panels, so please make your plans accordingly.
• Press can take photos or video during panels on a case by case basis. We ask that you be courteous to attendees while taking video or photos and avoid standing in front of other fans that are in attendance. Individual celebrities and agents have the right to deny photos and video during panels.
• No photos or videos of our guests are allowed at any time without the consent of the guest or their agent.

Media credentials are provided as a courtesy to outlets to promote and cover the event. Final approval/denial for press access is at the sole discretion of VXV Events, LLC. Previous press pass approval for other events does not guarantee approval for future events.
