ALL BOOTH REQUIREMENTS:
LIABILITY INSURANCE: A Liability Insurance Policy shall be provided to Producer with minimum limits of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence combined single limit for bodily injury liability and property damage liability and shall contain minimum limits of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) per aggregate. Said insurance policy shall specifically protect the City of Port St. Lucie by naming City of Port St. Lucie as Certificate Holder and as Additional Insured under the Liability Policy as well as on any Excess Liability Policy coverage, along with a Waiver of Subrogation. The official title of the certificate holder is City of Port St. Lucie, 121 SW Port Saint Lucie Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. This official title shall be used in all insurance documentation.
FOOD VENDOR / TRUCK REQUIREMENTS
·Only items listed and approved in this application will be allowed to be sold at the event. A menu must be submitted with your application.
·Your information will be sent to the fire department by the event coordinator prior to the event. A fire marshal inspection will be conducted one hour prior to the event start time.
·Please be sure to bring enough food to serve for the entire duration of the event.
VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS
· Vendors are responsible for the collection and payment of their own sales tax. No selling/soliciting outside assigned booth area.
· Vendors shall adhere to the policies and procedures as, set forth by Special Events/City staff at all times during the event.
·The Special Events/City staff reserves the right to reject any application and/or to deem any artwork, display, merchandise, or activity inappropriate for this family-oriented event. Vendors agree to abide by any such determination by Special Events/City staff (or its agents) and acknowledge that Vendors may be ejected from City property if they refuse to comply with Special Events/City staff direction.
·Vendors shall remove all debris, boxes, trash etc. and leave the event grounds in the condition that it was received.
·Vendors shall carry insurance and list the City of Port St. Lucie as additionally insured and as a certificate holder.
·Vendors and your staff must stay for the entire duration of the event unless otherwise directed by Special Events/City Staff. Vehicles are not allowed to drive through the event space during hours of operation.
·Vendors, your staff, and your booth must be neat, clean, and kept in an orderly fashion. Exhibits and displays must be contained within the booth space. Conduct and displays must be appropriate.
·The Special events/City staff will not be liable for any losses or damages of any kind that occurs at your booth. --·No items may be left on site after tear-down.
·Vendors shall provide their own tables, chairs, tents, and lights/extension cords. Tents must be weighed down to be secure. NO STAKES ARE ALLOWED.
·Vendors shall bring their own dolly or hand truck to help move items or equipment.
·Interactive activities are encouraged (games, demonstrations, crafts, etc.).
·Booth spaces are 10’x10’, unless otherwise noted. Activities must be limited to assigned booth space.
·At various times, the City videotapes & photographs events to be submitted to the local media, and other publications. By participating in the City’s Irish Festival, Vendors hereby authorize the City to reproduce, copy, exhibit, publish, broadcast, or distribute all such tapes or photographs.
·All vendor applications will be reviewed to ensure the vender’s product or service is the right fit for each event. ·The City will limit the number of vendors selling similar items. Applications are subject to written acceptance by the City of Port St. Lucie-Special Events Division.
·No subcontracting or assigning of this application or any other document associated with the rental/special event is allowed.
·The City of Port St. Lucie-Special Events Division reserves the right to remove or prohibit any exhibit, which in the City’s sole discretion is not suitable for the event. Prohibited activities and/or items include, but are not limited to, 1. Burning of any item (open fires, candles, incense, etc.) 2. Consumption or selling of alcoholic beverages. 3. Excessive noise, as determined by Special Events/City staff.
·No refunds will be given if an event is canceled due to weather or circumstances beyond the control of the City. The City shall not be held liable for loss or damage suffered because of any delay, interruption, or failure in performance, to include loss of facility and/or equipment use, resulting directly or indirectly from natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances. This also includes any action taken by any agency with jurisdiction of this event and/or activity, including but not limited to municipal, state, and/or federal agency, etc.
