By submitting this application, you (“Performer” or “Applicant”) agree to the following terms and conditions for participation in Gulf Coast Pride Festival 2025 (“Festival”), produced by Project Pride SRQ (“Organizer”).
1. Application Review & Acceptance
• Submission of this application does not guarantee a performance slot.
• All applications will be reviewed by the Organizer. Accepted performers will be contacted with official confirmation, scheduling, and logistics.
2. Performance Content
• All performances must align with the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Content must be appropriate for the audience type selected (e.g., Family-Friendly, 18+).
• Hate speech, explicit violence, or discriminatory content will not be tolerated.
3. Scheduling & Logistics
• Performance times and locations will be assigned at the discretion of the Organizer.
• Performers must arrive on time for sound checks and scheduled slots.
• Unapproved no-shows may impact eligibility for future events.
4. Compensation & Volunteering
• Performers who are volunteering their time acknowledge that no compensation will be provided.
• Performers requesting compensation must clearly outline their rates or expectations. Organizers will confirm payment details, if applicable, upon acceptance.
5. Equipment & Tech
• Performers are responsible for bringing any specialized or personal equipment not provided by the Organizer.
• Technical needs must be disclosed in advance. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
6. Promotion & Use of Likeness
• By submitting this application, you grant Project Pride permission to use your name, likeness, photos, and performance description for event marketing and promotional purposes, including web, social media, and print.
• You retain all rights to your original work and performance material.
7. Youth & Emerging Talent
• Applicants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to perform.
• Youth performers must be accompanied by an adult at all times unless otherwise approved.
8. Safety & Code of Conduct
• All performers and their guests agree to follow event staff instructions and uphold a safe, respectful environment for all attendees, participants, and volunteers.
• Any behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive may result in removal from the event without compensation.
9. Cancellations
• If you are unable to perform, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event so we may adjust our schedule.
• In case of weather, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, delay, or modify programming.
10. Liability
• Project Pride and its partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property or equipment.
• Performers participate at their own risk. Insurance is not required but is encouraged for professional acts.
