Let’s roll into fun with Touch-A-Truck—a hands-on, family-friendly experience where kids can explore, climb on, and learn about their favorite big rigs!

Touch-A-Truck provides a safe and exciting opportunity for children to:
✅ Climb into cabs
✅ Honk horns (at designated times!)
✅ Ask questions
✅ Pose for photos
✅ Learn how trucks and equipment work—from the pros who use them!

Local businesses, utility providers, city departments, farmers, and equipment operators are invited to bring vehicles and gear to show off to curious young minds.

By participating in the Touch-A-Truck event, you agree to the following terms and conditions to ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience for all:

 
1. Safety First
Engines must be turned off once the vehicle is parked unless otherwise approved by event staff.
No vehicle movement is allowed during event hours (11AM–7PM).
A chock or parking brake must be used at all times while parked.
Equipment with exposed moving parts must be disabled or secured for safety.
No climbing allowed on dangerous or restricted areas of vehicles.
 
2. Supervision
Each vehicle must have at least one adult representative present at all times to supervise and engage with attendees.
Staff must help enforce safe behavior and keep children away from hazardous areas.
 
3. Presentation
Trucks and equipment should be clean, safe, and presentable.
Participants are encouraged to bring signage, banners, or handouts explaining what the vehicle is and how it’s used.
Horns and sirens may only be used at designated “honk times” to protect sensitive ears.
 
4. Arrival & Departure
All vehicles must arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM for set-up.
No vehicle may leave before 7:00 PM without permission from an event official.
 
5. Liability & Conduct
Participants assume all liability for themselves, their vehicles, and their equipment.
The Klickitat County Harvest Festival, its organizers, and the City of Goldendale are not responsible for accidents, theft, injuries, or damages.
Unsafe or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event and exclusion from future participation.
 
6. Weather
This is a rain-or-shine event. Please prepare accordingly (tents, rain gear, etc.).
