There is not a fee associated with being a vendor in the children's area if you are providing an activity and not charging for anything.
Compliance: All vendors must adhere to the rules and regulations to ensure a smooth
and enjoyable experience for all participants and attendees.
Permits: Vendors must possess all necessary permits and licenses required by local
authorities to operate during the festival.
Health and Safety: Vendors must adhere to all health and safety regulations, including
food safety standards, sanitation practices, and any additional guidelines set forth by
festival organizers.
Professional Conduct: Vendors are expected to maintain a professional demeanor
at all times. This includes respectful interactions with festival attendees, other
vendors, and festival staff.
Noise Levels: Vendors are prohibited from playing music that will disrupt the
festival stage performances or overall ambiance of the festival.
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
1. Vendor Hours: All vendors must remain present and operational for the entire
duration of the festival. Leaving before the festival concludes is strictly prohibited, as it
may inconvenience attendees, cause safety hazards, and disrupt the overall experience
of the festival.
2. Vendor Responsibilities: Vendors bear the responsibility for all setup and security needs for
their booths. Highland Jazz and Blues Festival will not be responsible for any loss or
damage and the vendor will indemnify and hold HJBF harmless for any loss or damage
to any of the vendor's property or any damage or loss sustained by a third party due to
installation or set-up by vendor.
3. Setup and Breakdown: Vendors are responsible for setting up and breaking down
their assigned area within the designated time frames provided by festival organizers. Late
setups or early breakdowns will not be tolerated.
4. Vendor Parking: Vendor parking at the park is strictly prohibited. All vendors will be
given parking passes for a designated area close to the park.
5. Compliance Monitoring: Festival staff will monitor vendor compliance with these
rules. Area will be inspected before the start of the Festival. Any vendor found in
violation of these regulations may be subject to penalties, including fines, removal from
the festival, or not invited back in future years.
