Qualifications for Entry:
To be eligible, you must have won the Homemaker of the Year title at your local fair.
Please submit the following information:
Your full name
Name of your fair
Contact information (email and phone number)
Number of people attending the event with you
Any dietary restrictions for you and your guests
Participant Guidelines:
Bring a poster board display showcasing your accomplishments and community involvement.
Be prepared for a 15-minute interview with the judging panel.

Terms and Conditions for Participation
Michigan State Fair – Homemaker of the Year
By participating in the Michigan State Fair Homemaker of the Year event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility:
Participants must have won the Homemaker of the Year title at a recognized local fair in Michigan.
Submission Requirements:
All required information (name, fair, contact info, number attending, and dietary restrictions) must be submitted by the stated deadline. Incomplete entries may result in disqualification.
Event Participation:
Participants are expected to attend the full event, including judging, deliberation, and the award luncheon.
Display Materials:
Participants must bring a poster board that accurately and appropriately represents their achievements. Materials must be suitable for a public, family-friendly environment.
Interview:
Each participant will be required to complete a 15-minute in-person interview with the judging panel.
Conduct:
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner throughout the event. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event.
Media Release:
By participating, you grant permission to the Michigan State Fair to use photographs, video, and your name for promotional and archival purposes.
Travel and Expenses:
All travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise stated.
Judging Decisions:
All decisions made by the judging panel are final.
Liability:
The Michigan State Fair and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during participation in the event.
