Atlanta Black Pride Guide Advertising Application

As we prepare to celebrate our 25th anniversary as a community service organization and annual pride host and organizer, we invite you to join us in this celebration by taking part in one of our advertising and marketing programs. Expose your products and services to visitors worldwide who are coming to celebrate with us from August 30 - September 6, 2021. We distribute our Annual Pride Guide is to local bookstores, businesses, all of our programs and place it into visitor’s registration bags for the pride weekend. Our guide is printed in full color on a high-quality glossy paper to ensure that your ad is well represented. Our guests typically hold on to their guide long after the weekend has ended as a keepsake. An electronic copy of the Pride Guide will also be available for download on our website

ADVERTISING DESIGN AND MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. A high resolution (300 dpi) EPS, PNG, JPG, TIF, or PDF is required. Native files are not accepted. We will not be responsible for low-resolution files. Please make sure to embed or create outlines for fonts and all files converted to CMYK color or grayscale.
2. Publication trim size 8.375” X 10.875” (allow 0.25’ safety from trim for the live matter)
3. If the submitted original material is larger or smaller than the advertisement size,  a surcharge of 20% will be added to make the advertisement camera ready.
4. Payment is due upon submission ad of your ad.  You will be invoiced for any additional processing required by our graphic arts partner.

ADVERTISING INFORMATION AND DEADLINE

• The DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is August 1, 2021.
• Acceptance of advertising is subject to ABP’s approval including but not limited to copy, text, photography, and illustration.
• All advertisements are published in the representation that that advertiser and the advertising agency agree to indemnify and save harmless Atlanta Black Pride from any liabilities, loss, and expense of any nature arising out of such publication of contents of advertising.
• Advertisers and advertising agencies are responsible for the text, representation, illustrations, photography and all other contents of advertisements.
• Advertisers and advertising agencies are responsible for proofreading their ads.
• Atlanta Black Pride reserves the right to mark any advertisement “Paid Advertising” or “Advertising” if it looks like editorial content in the judgment of the publisher.
• Advertisers and advertising agencies are further responsible, without limitation, for any claims made within the advertisement.
• Atlanta Black Pride reserves the right to reject any advertisement, which in its opinion does not meet the ethical, social, aesthetic, and fair practice standard.
  Drawings, artwork, and articles for reproduction will be accepted only at the advertiser’s risk.
• Atlanta Black Pride will not be held liable for the return of any submitted advertising artwork. Advertisers should enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope to facilitate the return of any advertising materials.
