Hampton Roads Pride is dedicated to empowering the educational pursuits of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in our community. We are excited to announce that applications are now open for our scholarships, which support high school students and individuals attending or accepted into accredited post-secondary institutions across the United States. These scholarships encompass a variety of fields, including trade, real estate, and other areas of study, reflecting our commitment to fostering diverse pathways to success.
Terms & Conditions
Reward:
Hampton Roads Pride is proud to award scholarships totaling up to $30,000 to individuals who meet the outlined criteria. The exact award amount will be determined based on the number of recipients and available funding.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ+)
- LGBTQ+ allies are also encouraged to apply (those who do not identify as LGBTQ+, but who are allied with and support the LGBTQ+ community).
- Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above.
Geographical Eligibility: Applicants must reside in the Commonwealth of Virginia in one of the following areas:
