About the event

We have Playland (across from the zoo in Roeding Park) reserved from 5 PM to 10 PM on Saturday September 21st for our event. This will be a big fundraiser to benefit several local LGBTQ+ focused Non-Profit organizations (Community Link, Fresno EOC LGBTQ Resource Center, LGBTQ Fresno, Trans E Motion, Free Mom Hugs). The event will feature a Community based Talent Show! Your $20 General Admission Ticket will include the following: 1. Unlimited Rides (They have rides for all ages from Kiddie rides to a Giant Ferris Wheel, Swings and Bumper Cars) 2. Unlimited Arcade games 3. Unlimited Mini Golf 4. Talent Show on the Main Stage 5. Game Show Quiz game on the main stage 6. Free Raffle 7. Unlimited Train Rides 8. Splash Pad with Water Activities Other activities that will be available for purchase inside the park: 1. Food- You will have options for full meals as they offer Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Strips, Fries, Pizza, Funnel Cakes, Churros, Fountain Drinks and much more, the entire menu will be available for you to order dinner. 2. Carnival Style Games where you can win prizes and stuffed animals. 3. Spray on Tattoos and Face Painting 4. Alcoholic Beverages with a Bar being provided and staffed by The Lincoln Pub. Parking for the event will be $5, there are kiosks available in the park to pay for parking, there will be plenty of parking available close to Playland. No Outside Food and Beverage allowed in Playland. There is plenty of seating in Playland, but you can bring you own lawn chair for additional seating at the stage if you prefer. If you are interested in participating in the talent show, please email frpentertainment@yahoo.com, we are looking for any type of talent (Drag, Magic, Comedy, Spoken Word, Dance, Singing, Spinning plates, etc) This is an ALL AGES event, and the park will be closed to the General Public.

About the application

Show your community your talent! Volunteers wanted to entertain attendees. To avoid duplicate performances, not all applications will be accepted. Must be flexible with your stage slot time. You acklowdge this is a volunteer position. Tips from the audience will be encouraged, your donation is welcome but not mandatory. Individual and group acts are welcome.

Terms & Conditions

Acts taller than 12 ft will not be allowed on stage. No acts with fire allowed. No profanity and all acts MUST be family friendly. Sound technician and mics will be provided. You must provide your music/sound track, instruments props, etc. Email music to frpentertainment@yahoo.com no later than September 13th by 11:59PM.
