About the application

This application is for Food Trucks interested in selling at the 2024 Minnesota Merry Market at the State Fair.

 

Event Dates:

December 14-15 and December 21-22, 10am-5pm each day

 

Food Truck vendors will have the option to sell both weekends or one full weekend. Single days in a weekend will not be allowed.

 

Event Specifics:
This event is strategically timed during the busiest shopping weekends of the entire year. We will design the event as a festive holiday event, but it will definitely be marketed as a Christmas shopping event. Outside of the event center, we will create a courtyard of festive experiences (Santa visits, food trucks, train rides, etc) to make sure guests have an exciting holiday experience. All vendors will be located inside the event center.
 
Guest admission is $5 per day. Kids 2 and under are free.
 
Application:
Applications and the $20 Application fee must be submitted by September 27th in order to be considered. 
 
Vendors will be notified of their application status (accepted, waitlisted, or rejected) on October 16th.
 
Vendor Fees:
Accepted Food Trucks must submit a $100 fee per day at the time of acceptance. In addition, the Minnesota State Fair will collect 20% of sales after the event concludes.
 
IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • Food vendors that make pre-packaged food (ie-salsas, drink mixes, etc), please use the artist application here: https://www.eventeny.com/events/vendor/?id=20830
  • Food vendors must only sell food, not beverages. Canned water is the only exception.
  • Food vendors may not give out any materials that are not compostable. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in expulsion from the event.

Exclusions

  • All food vendors must be contained within a truck or trailer. Tents will not be allowed. If you are a food vendor that sells pre-packaged items (ie-salsas, drink mixes, etc), please apply using the artist application here: https://www.eventeny.com/events/vendor/?id=20830

Refund Policy

  • Application Fees are non-refundable. 
  • Deadlines for vendor cancellation: 
    • November 10th with 50% refund
    • December 2nd with 50% refund if we are able to fill your space
    • No refunds given after December 2nd
