2024 Scarecrow Harvest Application - Alpharetta Business Crows

This much anticipated Alpharetta Fall activity includes life-size scarecrows designed and installed by Alpharetta schools, day cares,businesses, non-profits, families and neighborhoods. City staff pre-assign the outdoor locations in parks and downtown Alpharetta for scarecrows to be displayed 9/26-10/30

The annual Scarecrow Harvest community activity is our much-anticipated fall event!  Alpharetta's downtown parks and sidewalks burst with colorful and creative life-size scarecrows. If you are an Alpharetta business, you may apply to our event for a nominal fee of $50+processing fees. You will design, create and install family-friendly scarecrows, to be displayed in our parks and downtown Alpharetta. All location assignments to be made by city of Alpharetta staff. Maps with a self-guided walking tour will be available when scarecrows have been installed.

 

*Please note all scarecrows must be removed by 11/2. Any items left after this date will be picked up and recycled and/or thrown away.*

New! Businesses participating in this year's Scarecrow Harvest can now increase their brand exposure by adding on a discounted Boo Bash Supporting Sponsor package. Boo Bash is the city's premier fall festival held in Wills Park on October 19 from 5-8 PM, and expected attendance is 1,500 to 2,500 people. Supporting Sponsors will receive brand placement on A-frame signage and a 10x10 booth space.

 

All businesses adding on the Supporting Sponsor package must agree to the following:

• Each booth must feature an interactive element, such as a game or activity, along with candy or giveaways to attract and delight visitors.
• A list of booth activities and official logos must be submitted to lpritchard@alpharetta.ga.us. Logos must be received, in vector format for best print use, by October 1 to be included in any/all remaining event ads and media inclusions. 
• Tents are to be provided by the sponsor, unless otherwise negotiated. All tents must be secured with weights and not stakes. A table and chairs can be provided upon request to lpritchard@alpharetta.ga.us. 
• Sponsorship can NOT be given away or traded.
• Any sponsor having another organization in their booth space must receive written permission from the event coordinator prior to the event to do so, to ensure there are no conflicts with other vendors/sponsors.
• Boo Bash is a rain or shine event and all fees are nonrefundable.

Waiver of Liability for Boo Bash Participation

I understand and acknowledge that participation in this event can be hazardous, and I hereby assume all risk while participating. I, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the City of Alpharetta, its agents, employees, officers, officials and sponsors from all rights and claims for any personal injury, death, or property damage suffered by me, or that I cause to others, as a result of my participation in this event. I, the undersigned, agree, without any right of payment or editing, to allow the City of Alpharetta to use the images of me and/or my children, including reproductions of photos, video, audio or other reproductions, for use in all types of media for public relations purposes to promote Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services programs and activities. I, the undersigned, give permission to the City of Alpharetta to obtain and authorize medical care for participants at any hospital, emergency medical center, or any other health facility; by any medical doctor, osteopath, nurse, surgeon or any other medical practitioner. I also agree to be responsible for the expenses of any medical care required, and I hold the staff authorizing the medical care harmless from any damages suffered by the participant as a result of the medical treatment authorized.
