About the application

The Cosplay Contest is one of the biggest highlights at Infinity Con. Each year, contestants get to show off their cosplay creations, no matter their skill level: Apprentice, Journeyman, Master. We can't wait to see your cosplays come to life! Cosplay Contest will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, on the Main Stage. Guidelines and Contestant Info

You may enter in any of the following categories: Apprentice, Journeyman, or Masters.
Apprentice: No requirements on make of costume if it meets the guidelines outlined in the Official Rules. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be awarded based on creativity, presentation, and showmanship.
Journeyman: You must at least hand make/self produce/create 50% of your cosplay. Keep store bought costumes or commissioned pieces to a minimum (Not including/under suits/undergarments/etc.) Show us your creativity and imagination! The judges will be looking at what YOU created, not what someone else created.
Masters: You must at least hand make/self produce/create 95 - 100% of your cosplay. No store bought costumes or commissioned pieces (Not including/under suits/undergarments/etc.) Judges want to reward YOUR creativity, imagination, and skill; not someone else’s. Cosplays that have won at other conventions or in previous years at IC events are not allowed.
Sign ups will close online on Saturday, September 28th, or when we have reached our limit of 75 contestants. If there are spots still available at the event, signups will be at the Infinity Con Info Table in the Lobby. MASTER LEVEL ENTRY MUST PRE JUDGE ON SATURDAY, BY 2:00 PM in the Cosplayers Forge. Contestants at any level can enter as an individual or group. These are NOT separate judging categories; individual and group entries will be judged together. Winners (individual or a group) will receive only one prize.
There will be a Kids Cosplay Showcase/Parade each day (for ages 13 and under). See the Kids Con area for more info.

Photographic and Media Consent By attending, taking part in events and/or exhibiting at the any Infinity Con/ Lunar 11 Entertainment LLC event, I hereby consent to the collection and use of my personal images by photography and/or video recording. I acknowledge these may be used for promotional purposes by Infinity Con/Lunar 11 Entertainment LLC and our media partners for current and future events.
