ValleyCon Party Room Fantasy Suites (FANTASUITES) Deal!
We are jump starting the party room program with a deal that can’t be beat!
75% REBATE on FANTASUITES!!
How it works… you and crew must pre-register for ValleyCon (only fully registered attendees can sign up to host).
VC does provide 2 free pre-regs for party rooms but we do require a pre-reg so consider it a refundable deposit! You will get a refund of your pre-reg when you arrive at VC (or use it for others to get in to help). All members of groups running party rooms will need full badges (check with us for individual issues) so this at least discounts across the group.
Next, you book with us for a party room and what room you’d prefer (or rooms, you can book 2 to have adjoining). Next, you book WITH THE HOTEL so you are set with them (we do NOT collect money for your rooms!). Lastly, you inform us of your booking and provide us with the name and conformation number.
At the con, we will PLACE you in your room(s) with the hotel and when you arrive, you check into your room(s) normally as in any hotel… you will wind up paying for your room at checkout as well. THEN you bring your checkout receipt to REGISTRATION for your cash rebate! 75% room fee (it will NOT include taxes or any other charges, just room fee!) back in cash! So approximately $50 to have a party room at ValleyCon!
We do NOT remove furniture from the rooms (the cost is ridiculously high) but if you wish to remove beds, look below..
We are all about having fun at VC and not too hung up on BS so here’s the rules of party rooms:
Ø ONLY VC ATTENDEES CAN BE IN PARTY ROOMS!!! *We are paying for part of the room plus have full control of the hotel spaces as we are the host so yes, we CAN limit attendees as per our agreement with hotel.
Ø Yes, you can keep beds in… just slide up or lean up against wall if desired or check with us about removal (we are not a huge crew.. we would love more volunteers! But we will NOT do removal. You have to arrange it but we will provide a room to store beds (ONLY!! No other furniture can move) if you can move them AND RETURN THEM!
Ø You can definitely stay in the room!
Ø Decorate without destroying anything (you are 100% responsible)!
Ø You CAN EVEN VEND IN THEM!!! But you MUST have a PARTY in them in evenings!!! More vendors/artist groups should do this… BUT NO ALCOHOL CAN BE SOLD, PERIOD!! Hotel contract.. tips are allowed, though!
Ø PARTIES are FRIDAY anytime after 9pm til 3am (You can wait to open til after Burlesque) and SATURDAY anytime after 8pm til 3am!
Ø If you are participating in Burlesque/vending til 9/Banquet/Adult & Teen Cosplay/etc and need to not open til 10pm or whenever, fine! Just check with us and plan a sign or 10… Generally Friday hours 9pm-3am (not counting Burlesque) and Saturday 8pm-3am.
It DOES NOT COST ANYTHING to register for a party room except for being a pre-regged member (or vendor, etc) and then to book with hotel (who does not take any money until checkout) so do not delay.. we will cap and cutoff when the number hits a certain spot!
Cost breakdown: $30 x 2 (VC weekend passes). Room for 2 nights ($200 approx.). Whatever you wish to provide food/drinks ($???). Checkout and go to reg for rebate 75% of $200 = $50! We will rebate the 2 passes at check-in or off of other attendees assisting you and you can work it out (4 other help, they give you $15 each…).
We will need a NAME for the room/Who is running it/BRIEF DESCRIPTION and – by Sept. 10 – any image you want for it.
You can also get a ¼ page ad in the program but it will be a $25 charge! MUST BE IN by Sept. 10! We will email you with details after you’ve registered!
VC observes all Fargo and N.D. laws so alcohol must be CARDED and any other substances better be blatantly legal or it is NOT… no b.s.! FPD does come by and they are friends.. and we keep a safe, fun event for ALL so let’s play nice!
