StLouisArts.org Artist Village @ PrideFest

The Board of Pride St. Louis is honored to present PrideFest 2024 "Unleash Your Pride". This two day free festival brings over 325,000 people to downtown St. Louis to celebrate one of the Midwest largest free Pride events! Including Main Stage, DJ/Dance Area, VIP Experience, Vendor Fair, Local Artists, Children's Area, Food Court, Non-Profit Village, and Grand Pride Parade!

GENERAL INFORMATION:

StLouisArts.org, powered by the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, is partnering with PRIDE STL to create an Artists Village at the two-day event. Artists chosen for the event will get a free, 10x10 spot in the Artists Village ($2000 value). A total of 20 artists will be chosen.

 

SELECTION PROCESS:

Applications to be considered for the StLouisArts.org Artists Village will open May 1, 2024 and will close May 31, 2024. The selection process will take place June 1-3, 2024. Artists will be notified on June 3. A selection committee made up of representatives of StLouisArts.org and PRIDE STL will review applications and select the 20 artists

VENDOR INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION:

Artists selected for the StLouisArts.org Artists Village are required to be at the event for the duration. Artists are highly encouraged to have a physical presence at the event without the use of a proxy, though exceptions can be made. Set up for the event can take place after 8 a.m. on June 29. Take down can take place after 6 p.m. on June 30. Artists are responsible for load in and load out. Artists will be connected with PRIDE STL staff to ensure optimal load in and load out after their selection.

Tables, chairs, tents and electricity will be provided by PRIDE STL.

 

PRICE RANGE OF WORK:

Though we expect artists to have varied prices, artists are encouraged to offer affordable options for festival attendees. Please mindful of size of items, as many festival goers will likely be there for many hours and may not have easy access to their vehicle.

 

SECURITY:

24-hour security is provided however, StLouisArts.org and PRIDE STL are not responsible for any damage that may occur to work, equipment or other material due to rain, wind, fire, theft, etc.
