Decorate - Cost of Decorations

Join us on December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2023, for the First Annual Christmas on the Square festival in Mountain View, AR. Santa himself will be there both days, spreading holiday cheer to children of all ages. So, bring your wish lists and capture a special moment with Santa. We will also have Santa's Workshop where children can create their own Christmas decorations and other crafts. Enjoy food vendors, shop in our Tinsel Town craft vendor area, join in singing Christmas carols, playing games and so much more! Saturday, December 2nd, we will have a parade down Main St. followed by our big "Light Up the Square" ceremony. We can't wait to see the Square lit up like never before. Mark your calendars and spread the word about this fun weekend for the whole family.

We are looking for businesses to claim one of nine sections around the courthouse square for decoration, making it shine brightly. We want to illuminate Mountain View like never before. With this sponsorship opportunity, there is no financial payment required; only the cost of decorating your designated area on the square. We have divided the square into nine sections, some with very large trees, and others with few and small trees, but all offer the potential for beautiful decorations. This year's theme is "A Country Christmas." We aim for each of the nine sections to have its unique character while maintaining consistency, so all businesses must submit decoration plans for approval. If you're unsure about decorating your section, our decorating committee team members can assist you in planning.

 

To acknowledge your significant efforts in decorating the square, we will hold a contest based on the people's choice to determine the business with the best decorations.
