The Competitive Division is open to participants ages 18 and up and is intended for experienced cornhole players looking for a more competitive challenge. Teams must consist of two players.

Tournament Format
The Competitive Division will feature a round-robin format, with each team guaranteed at least two games. The tournament will accommodate up to 12 teams, with the top 8 teams advancing to a single-elimination bracket to compete for the championship.

Participant Release, Indemnity & Hold Harmless Agreement
I fully understand that my participation in the 2026 Rivals for a Cause event presents exposure to the risk of personal injury, death, or property damage. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and agree to assume all risks associated with participation in the event, including the cornhole tournament and related activities.
I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to sue the City of Bastrop, its officials, officers, agents, employees, representatives, or volunteers for any injury, death, or loss of property arising out of or connected with my participation in the event, including negligence.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims arising out of my participation, including injuries or damages caused in whole or in part by the intentional acts, negligence, or recklessness of the Released Parties.
I understand that participants may be photographed or recorded during the event and grant permission for such media to be used by the City of Bastrop for promotional purposes.
I certify that all information submitted in my registration is true and correct. I understand and agree to comply with all event rules, instructions, and requirements.

- I understand that this is the Competitive Division for recreational players meant for elite or highly competitive players.
- I understand that all players must be over the age of 18.
- I understand that teams are guaranteed at least two games in the round-robin portion of the tournament. The top 8 teams out of 12 will advance to a single-elimination bracket.
- I agree to follow tournament rules and event staff instructions and to demonstrate respectful sportsmanship toward other participants, staff, and spectators.
