Costume Contest: Fall Festival

Show off your Halloween spirit at our Family Halloween Costume Contest! Participants of all ages are invited to dress to impress for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights.

Categories include:

• Most Creative
• Funniest
• Scariest
• Best Family/Group.

Costume Contest Rules

1. Registration is required and is available onsite beginning at 1:00 PM if we don't fill up online first
2. Registration is limited to 40 total entries/groups and is first-come, first-served.
3. Participants must register by 2:15 PM to compete.
4. Participants will receive a contest number and must be available in the designated lineup area at 2:20 PM.
   Contest begins promptly at 2:30 PM.
5. Each contestant/group will have approximately 10–15 seconds to walk, pose, and show off their costume.
6. Costumes must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
7. No real weapons, realistic weapons, dangerous props, or excessively graphic/gory costumes will be permitted.
8. Judges will score costumes based on creativity, originality, presentation, overall appearance, and Halloween spirit.
9. Each participant may enter one category only.
10. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, and judges' decisions are final.
11. Winners must be present to receive their prize.
12. By participating, contestants/parents or guardians acknowledge that event photos/video may be used by Baltimore City Recreation & Parks for promotional purposes.
