Join us for Carlsbad’s annual Electric Light Parade, celebrating the magic and traditions of Christmas Around the World! Decorate your float, vehicle, group, or entry with festive lights and showcase a Christmas tradition, culture, or holiday spirit from around the globe.

Release of Liability 

The City of Carlsbad and Carlsbad MainStreet shall not be responsible for any personal injury, death, or property loss or damage to the persons or entities entered this event, their agents, employees, officers, representatives, assigns, customers, patrons, guests, or invitees arising from any causes whatever.

In consideration for entry into the event, I do, for mysel, the organization I represent, my hiers, executors and administrator, herby release and discharge the City of Carlsbad and Carlsbad MainStreet, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from all manner of claims, liabilities, obligations, causes of action, damages, suits, losses, and agents from all manner of claims, liabilities, obligations, causes of action, damages, suits, losses, and expenses of every kind, which I and/or the organization I represent have now or hereinafter and which are associated, in any manner, with this parade entry, or the event listed above.

Additionally, I and the organization I represent shall save, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of Carlsbad and Carlsbad MainStreet, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, obligations, causes of actions, damages, suits, losses and expenses of every kind, together with any attorneys' fees and litigation costs, made by or on behalf of any person or entity arising out of or in any manner associated with this event or the event listed above. 

• Participants shall not throw, pitch, or let go of any candy, gum, or other objects intended for spectators.
• Participants shall not endanger themselves or any other person or their property.

Violations of these and other required conditions set forth by City of Carlsbad Ordinance shall constitute a violation of this parade's terms and conditions and may result in participants expulsion or exclusion from the event.
