Description
This series is called Monster Skins. I was inspired by the expression of a creature's eye (specifically humans) and what they may be thinking and holding inside. The use of oils, in contrast to acrylics, allows me to work slowly and observe details; reminiscent of the truth people speak when they are not rushed. The green skins resembles a monster hence removing prejudices and permitting us to study what the eyes really want to say.
