Star Trek: The Next Generation Ensign Communicator and Rank Pip Pin Set NEW

This is a set of 2 cloisonne metal pins as worn by Ensign Wesley Crusher and other Starfleet Ensigns. It includes a 1.75" x 2" gold and silver toned reproduction of the chest communicator pin worn by members of Starfleet and the left collar rank pip. They are reproductions of the ones worn on the 3rd-7th seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, as well as the first 5 years of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The pips are in a shiny, high quality cloisonne gold toned metal (which is a higher quality pin than the soft metal enamel painted pins offered elsewhere), and available in both black or gold, depending on rank. Four gold for Captain, 3 gold for Commander, 2 gold and 1 black for Lt. Commander, 2 gold for Lt., 1 gold and 1 black for Lt. J.G., and 1 gold for Ensign. They measure 7/16" across and are mint, unworn pins. Made by the Hollywood Pins Company, they have had limited release and are not easily found outside of Star Trek conventions. Hollywood Pins closed down in October 2001 so these pins will soon be next to impossible to find. These are stored in a smoke and pet free environment.
