This is the process i use when making silkscreen paintings. The screen count is 255 and the dyes are concentrated, water based silk dyes.

David Johns

David was born and raised in Toronto and graduated from the Ontario College of Art. He worked in Toronto as a graphic designer in design studios, advertising agencies and the corporate environment, specializing in information design. Now retired, David is exploring a variety of mediums: photography, silkscreen monoprints, pastel, plus monoprints (flora), and enjoying every messy minute. Member: Pastel Artists of Canada; Don Valley Art Club; Artists' Network - Toronto. Please note: Computer screen images are back lit (luminous) and appear bright with intensified colours. Paintings and photographic prints are reflective and have lower levels of contrast and colour intensity.
